Defining Organization and Role Types
In the Process Space, types can be set for organisational units, for relations between organisational units and for roles, in order to group them.

How Types Are Used
The BPM Manager carries out the typing within the organisation, primarily in order to ensure that the organisation management is designed and used consistently.
Organisation types are particularly suitable for grouping organisational units consistently at a certain level. This makes it easy to recognise, for example, whether the unit is a company unit, a department for production, sales or administration, or a group.
Relation types supplement the hierarchical relations of the company structure with further types of directed or undirected relations to other organisational units, for example business collaboration between specialist departments of different company units.
The role types can group the organisation roles by manager, external employee and so on, for example.
The type lists can be narrowed down using the name filter in the list header.

How to Proceed

In the main menu, select Organisation.
The Organisation page tab appears and the Organisational Structure tab is expanded by default.

In the header of the page tab, click Set Types in the submenu.
The page of the same name appears.

To close the page, click Back at the top.
