Changing the assignment of a risk or opportunity

A risk or opportunity can be reassigned within the same process.

Prerequisites

You must be the Process Owner.

You have added a risk or opportunity to a process or a process element.

Context

A risk or opportunity is to be assigned to the process or to another process element.

This also applies to a risk or opportunity without an assignment. The assignment is lost, for example, if the associated process element no longer exists after a review. In this case, the risk or opportunity is always reassigned to the process first.

Reassignment can only take place within the same process.

How to proceed

1. Select the process or process element whose risk or opportunity you want to reassign.

   The risks and opportunities recorded for it so far are listed.

2. Click the risk or opportunity you want to assign.

   The details are expanded.

3. To reassign an assigned risk or opportunity, select ⋮ Change assignment.

   The dialog of the same name appears.

4. In the list, click the process or process element to which you want to assign the risk or opportunity.

   The assignment is made and the dialog closes.

5. To assign an unassigned risk or opportunity to the process, select ⋮ Assign to process.

   The assignment is made.
