Changing the hierarchy

Prerequisites

You are a BPM Manager.

You are on the Manage Process Space page in the Process Hierarchy tab.

Context

Elements (including their sub-elements) and processes in the process hierarchy can be moved to other hierarchy elements using drag and drop. The possible insertion points are indicated by the note Insert here**↓**.

Elements or processes cannot be moved within a parent hierarchy element, as they are grouped automatically and sorted alphabetically.

How to proceed

1. To assign an element to another element in the process hierarchy, click the element, move it to the target element and release it.

   The element is placed at the target element and the Discard changes and Save commands are enabled.

2. To move further elements, repeat the step.

3. To confirm the assignments, click Save.

   The assignments are saved and the buttons are disabled.
