Starting the Approval Process

The Process Owner can start the approval process for an imported or submitted process version (revision).

Prerequisites

You are a Process Owner.

You are on the process page of an imported or submitted process version (revision) for which the approval process has not yet been started.

Context

The Process Owner can start the approval process for an imported or submitted process version (revision).

At the core of the approval process is at least one Review, which can subsequently be created, but can also be skipped or discarded later. An approval process can provide for several consecutive reviews.

How to proceed

1. If you are on a different tab of the process page, click the Overview tab.

   The page content of the tab is displayed.

2. To start the approval process, click Start Approval Process.

   The approval process defined for the Process Space is started.

   The name of the first review is displayed. You can decide whether the review should be created or whether you want to skip this step of the approval process.
