Managing the Organizational Structure
The organizational structure represents your company's organizational setup.

What is managed in the organizational structure
The organizational structure represents the hierarchy of your company’s areas of responsibility. Areas of responsibility are organizational units to which users are assigned in a specific role, as owners, deputies or members. The delegated tasks and competencies of an organizational unit can be described and translated for each organizational unit.
Organizational roles that are required can be assigned to an organizational unit.
In addition to the hierarchical relationships between higher-level and lower-level organizational units, other directed and undirected relationship types can be defined. Likewise, types of organizational units (e.g. department, group) and roles (e.g. manager) can be defined.
An organizational unit can be linked to a process or a lane. This expresses, for example, that the organizational unit is responsible for performing the tasks within the lane. Based on this, such processes are shown as relevant processes for the assigned users of the organizational unit.
