Evaluating a Process Version

If you are assigned to a review as a participant, you are expected to give a final recommendation regarding the release of the process version.

If you are assigned to a Review as a Review Participant, you are expected to give a final recommendation regarding the release of the process version.

Prerequisites

You have been assigned to a Review as a Review Participant.

You have opened the review; the Review area is displayed to the right of the process page.

Context

The final evaluation of the process version (revision) forms the basis for the Process Owner’s decision on its release and publication.

As long as your evaluation is outstanding, the Complete Evaluation section shows a red exclamation mark. You can evaluate using one of three labels.

Can be released

This process version can be released without conditions
Can be released subject to conditions

The points raised in the discussion must be corrected before release
Should not be released

This process version should not be released

Once submitted, the section is called My Evaluation. As long as the Review Owner has not ended the review, you can give further feedback and change your evaluation. This also applies once the review’s end date has been reached.

The decision on the release and publication of the process version (revision) examined in the review lies with the Process Owner.

How to proceed

In the Review area, expand the Complete Evaluation section.
Select one of the three labels.

The Complete Evaluation button becomes active.
Optionally enter a Reason.
Click Complete Evaluation.

The section is now called My Evaluation and displays your label.
To change your evaluation, click Change Evaluation in My Evaluation and select again.
