Exporting Process Revisions

Revisions of all processes can be exported.

Prerequisites

You are a BPM Manager or Process Owner for the process whose process revisions you want to export.

Context

You can export revisions of all processes to a file in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format. You can export all process revisions here. This includes expired, discarded or imported revisions, among others.

During export, the CSV format allows process information to be provided in text form, for example for Microsoft Excel. The elements of the process revision are output line by line (process name, process ID, revision, version, etc.).

How to proceed

1. In the main menu, select Manage Processes.

   The overview page of the same name appears.

2. Select the Actions tab.

3. Select the Export Process Revisions action in the Export Process Data tile.

   The page of the same name appears.

   The Process Revisions table contains all revisions of all processes, split across several pages if necessary.

4. To reduce the number of page changes needed for the selection, narrow down the list of process revisions using the filters. To do so, click the filter, set the filter and close the filter selection by clicking the filter again.

   The table is narrowed down accordingly.

5. Activate the selection fields in Configure Table Columns to define the table columns and filter options displayed in the table and in the export.

6. Activate the selection fields of the process revisions you want to export.

7. Click Export {{number}} revision(s).

   The CSV export of the selected revision(s) starts.
