Assign Organizational Roles to an Organizational Unit

Organizational roles can be assigned to an organizational unit.

Prerequisites

You are a BPM Manager.

You are on the Organization page tab.

Context

You can explicitly assign organizational roles to an organizational unit.

Implicit links arise from users who are assigned to both an organizational role and an organizational unit.

An explicit link exists independently of specific users.

How to proceed

1. In the organizational structure, click the organizational unit.

   The organizational unit page appears on the right.

2. To assign organizational roles to an organizational unit, click the edit icon next to the Linked Organizational Roles section heading.

   The Link to Organizational Roles dialog appears.

3. To select a role for the organizational unit, tick its selection box.

4. To confirm the changes, click Apply Selection.

   The explicitly linked organizational roles are marked with a link icon.
