The Review Owner is assigned to a review when it is initiated by the Process Owner.
The Review Owner is assigned to a review when it is initiated by the Process Owner. They are responsible for a review and are the contact person for all Review Participants. They have all permissions for the review they are responsible for.
The Review Owner prepares the Process Owner’s decision on the release of the process version.
What are my tasks as a Review Owner?
A Review Owner can
- organize the review of a process revision
- define the Review Participants and additional Review Owners of a review
- send notifications about the review
- take part in discussions about the review
- form an opinion on the result based on the ratings and feedback of the Review Participants
- end the review and, based on the result, decide immediately whether the process version is approved or rejected
What do I need to know as a Review Owner about the release process?
Processes are subject to a release process before publication. The basic elements are the review (with commenting on the process as well as the final rating), the actual release by approving the revision, and the publication of the process. It is also possible to discard a revision.
A release process must be imported into the Process Space as a special BPMN process to ensure a consistent approach.
