Assigning Organizational Units to an Organizational Role

Organizational units can be assigned to an organizational role.

Prerequisites

You are a BPM Manager.

You are on the Organization page tab.

Context

You can explicitly assign organizational units to an organizational role.

Implicit links arise from users who are assigned to an organizational role and an organizational unit at the same time.

An explicit link exists independently of specific users.

How to proceed

1. In the organizational roles, click the organizational role.

   The organizational role’s page appears on the right.

2. To assign organizational units to an organizational role, click the edit icon next to the Linked organizational units section heading.

   The Link to organizational units dialog appears.

3. To select a unit for the organizational role, activate its selection field.

4. To confirm the changes, click Apply selection.

   The explicitly linked organizational units are marked with a link icon.
