Bpanda lets you quickly and easily find out about the processes that are relevant to you. The process steps are presented to you either as a diagram, as a process list or in the step-by-step guide.

Purpose and functionality of Bpanda

Bpanda is a platform that brings together everything needed to enable optimal knowledge sharing about business processes among everyone involved in them. You can use the process platform on a PC, tablet or smartphone. We recommend using the browsers Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera or Microsoft Edge. Note that JavaScript must be enabled.

The intuitive user interface allows every user to quickly find and use the information they need. The search function suggests suitable search terms as you type.

Processes can be understood reliably even without knowledge of the diagram symbols. The process steps are always displayed automatically in text form in a process list, taking all branches into account as well. Alternatively, a guide takes you through your process step by step and explains each diagram symbol. This makes even complex procedures easy to follow and apply.

Process Owners can easily link every process and every process step with the corresponding documents, videos and links. Knowledgeable Process Contributors can support them in doing so.

Designers can capture processes directly with the integrated Modeler. Alternatively, an established modelling tool can be used to integrate the processes into Bpanda effortlessly on the basis of BPMN XML.

You can suggest improvements to your process quite easily in the form of a question about the process. Discussions and decisions are consolidated and documented directly at the process.

Bpanda makes knowledge about processes and structures immediately accessible to everyone involved through the following core functions:

Structure of Bpanda

Bpanda offers a user interface consisting of the following main elements:

• header and footer of the application

  In the header, you can click the Bpanda logo to go to the home page, search in your Process Space and find out about your notifications. At the top right, you open your user menu.

  The expandable footer offers contact details of your BPM Managers, information about the version and links to relevant websites.

• main menu

  The main menu is permanently visible on the left and gives you access to all main functions available for your current roles. Above it is Create, below it Settings.

• page

  Using the functions in the main menu, you have access to particular pages that present the respective content. Pages always have their own header with the page title and, where applicable, further information about the displayed content. The page content may be divided into sections.

  If the aspects to be displayed are very extensive, they are shown in separate tabs – for example, for the process page.

• home page

  The home page shows you the process map and, depending on the setting of the Process Space, the enterprise architecture; on the right, the Relevant for me area summarises your tasks, processes, favourites and most recently viewed processes. It serves as the entry point into a Process Space whose processes are accessible via the process map, which may have several levels.

• search results

  The search results consist of processes and process elements in the processes of the Process Space that are visible to you. You can narrow down your search results with filters where applicable.

• process map

  The process map gives you an overview of which processes are available in the part of the Process Space that is visible to you.

• process page

  When you have opened a process, you are on the process page. The process page provides you with all the information about the process.

• Review area

  A Review opens as an area to the right of the process page. Here you navigate to the information of the Review.

In addition, dialogs support you with certain procedures.
