Exporting Process Responsibilities (Lanes)

Process responsibilities (lanes) of all processes can be exported.

Prerequisites

You are a BPM Manager or Process Owner for the process whose process responsibilities you want to export.

Context

You can export the process responsibilities (lanes) of the process revisions to a file in CSV format (comma-separated values). You can export the process responsibilities (lanes) of all process revisions. This includes, among others, revisions that have already expired or been discarded or imported.

On export, the CSV format allows process information to be provided in text form, for example for Microsoft Excel. The elements of the process revision are output line by line (process responsibility, process name, process ID, revision, etc.).

How to proceed

1. Select Manage Processes in the main menu.

   The overview page of the same name appears.

2. Select the Actions tab.

3. Select the Export process responsibilities (lanes) action in the Export process data tile.

   The page of the same name appears.

   The table of process responsibilities (lanes) of the process revisions contains all process responsibilities of all revisions of all processes, spread over several pages if necessary.

4. To reduce the number of page changes required for the selection, narrow down the list of process responsibilities using the filters. To do this, click the filter, set the filter and close the filter selection by clicking the filter again.

   The table is restricted accordingly.

5. Activate the check boxes in Configure table columns to define the table columns and filter options displayed in the table and in the export.

6. Activate the check boxes of the process responsibilities you want to export.

7. Click Export {{number}} lane(s).

   The CSV export of the selected revision(s) starts.
