Building the hierarchy

To build the process hierarchy, you normally create as many elements in the sublevel as are to be linked from the process map.

Prerequisites

You are a BPM Manager.

You are on the Manage Process Space page in the Process Hierarchy tab.

Context

The process hierarchy can consist of several levels. In the sublevel of a structure element, you normally create as many elements as are to be linked from the Process Map above it.

For better orientation, the names of the elements should largely match the names in the respective Process Map.

How to proceed

1. To add an element on the next sublevel of the process hierarchy, navigate to the structure element and click ⋮ Add New Sublevel.

   The dialog of the same name appears.

2. Enter the name and a description of the element and click Create.

   The element is displayed in the process hierarchy and marked as “New”.

3. To add further elements, repeat the steps.
