## General [#allgemein]

We at Bpanda strive to make partially accessible operation of our application possible within the scope of our capabilities. To this end, we are continuously working on improvements in order to comply with the applicable standards (**European Standard EN 301549**).

Below you will find a list of the things we have already made possible so that Bpanda can be used accessibly:

## Text alternatives [#textalternativen]

Alternative texts are available for non-text content (controls, icons, graphics). Short designations are stored in the alt attribute. The alternative texts describe the content or the function. Alternative texts thus make non-text content accessible to users of assistive technologies.

## Structure and semantics [#struktur-und-semantik]

**The following are excluded**: content implemented by the user themselves.

- All information, structures and relationships conveyed through the presentation are recognisable to assistive technologies. Headings and labels identify the topic or purpose.
- Paragraphs and other related content are marked up as paragraphs or as body text.
- Labels (HTML element: <label>) are clearly linked to the associated controls.
- Related functional areas are marked up with a heading element. The heading hierarchy is represented by suitable heading elements (HTML element: <h1> to <h5>).
- Visually recognisable lists are marked up with suitable list elements. Relationships between lists (e.g. a nested list) are represented at the structural level.
- Tabular data is prepared as a data table. Header rows are structured (HTML element: <th>). Tabular data in complex tables is made comprehensible by linking header cells and data cells.

## Colours [#farben]

- The colour scheme in Bpanda can be individually adapted for each customer in accordance with your company's corporate identity, and therefore also for users with colour vision deficiencies.
- Mandatory fields or incorrect entries in a form are not identified by a different colour alone. For example, mandatory fields are marked with an "\*", are recognisable in the HTML for assistive systems and display a note text in the event of incorrect entries.

## Contrast and distinguishability [#kontrast-und-unterscheidbarkeit]

- Bpanda is a product that is accessed and operated via the web browser. For this reason, additional software must be used for increased contrast strength.
- Because a Process Space can be individualised, the distinguishability of graphical and textual content depends on the company-specific implementation of the colours and other individualisation options.
- When a high-contrast colour scheme is used, listed elements are clearly visible, operable and have sufficient contrast.

## Scalability [#skalierbarkeit]

- Texts and graphics are not displayed blurred or indistinctly. This is ensured by the web fonts we use.
- Horizontal scrolling is avoided. At high magnification, elements are regrouped so that blocks are displayed narrower or one below the other instead of side by side. This is ensured by our responsive designs.
- Texts can be enlarged to up to 200% of the default font size using the browser zoom without any loss of content or functionality.
- All texts can be enlarged by the set factor.
