Types of organizational units, relations between organizational units and roles can be renamed and translated.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager**.

You are on the **Define Types** page.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

Editing the types of organizational units, relations between organizational units and roles includes renaming them and adding or changing translations of the names.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. In the row of the type, click **Edit** in the **submenu**.

   The dialog for editing appears.
2. To change the direction of a relation to **undirected** or **directed**, select the corresponding **radio button** and, if necessary, enter the additionally required name.
3. To change a name, enter a different name.
4. To change or create the translation of a name, click the **toggle icon** in the dialog.

   The display switches to two-column mode.
5. In the selection list, select the language, change or create the translation for the name of the type and repeat the process to edit further languages.
6. To confirm the changes, click **Save**.

   The changes are saved and the dialog is closed.
