An element can be set as an entry point for specific users.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager**.

You are on the **Manage Process Space** page in the **Process Hierarchy** tab.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

You can set an element as an entry point into the process hierarchy for specific organizational units, organizational roles, groups or individual users. The start navigation into the process hierarchy is focused on a specific branch with the relevant processes for these users.

To make only this level and all levels below it visible for these users, the **Process Hierarchy Visibility** must then be configured for these organizational units, organizational roles, groups or users in the **Individualize** tab.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. To set an element as an entry point, navigate to the element and click ⋮ **Manage Level**.

   The element's page appears.
2. To set the element as an entry point, click the entry point icon.

   The **Set process map '{{name}}' as entry point** dialog appears.
3. Use the search and the filters to narrow down the entries displayed.

   The entries are reduced to the corresponding entries.
4. Select the checkboxes for the organizational units, organizational roles, groups or users for which the element is to be the entry point into the process hierarchy.
5. To confirm the assignment, click **Apply selection**.
