To build the process hierarchy, you normally create as many elements in the sublevel as are to be linked from the **Process Map**.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager**.

You are on the **Manage Process Space** page in the **Process Hierarchy** tab.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

The process hierarchy can consist of several levels. In the sublevel of a structure element, you normally create as many elements as are to be linked from the **Process Map** above it.

For better orientation, the names of the elements should largely match the names in the respective **Process Map**.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. To add an element on the next sublevel of the process hierarchy, navigate to the structure element and click ⋮ **Add New Sublevel**.

   The dialog of the same name appears.
2. Enter the name and a description of the element and click **Create**.

   The element is displayed in the process hierarchy and marked as "New".
3. To add further elements, repeat the steps.
