The **risk analysis** is published by the **Risk Manager** or the **BPM Manager** to make this information accessible to everyone who is permitted to see the respective process.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You must be a **Risk Manager** or **BPM Manager**.

Risks and chances for a process or a process element have been recorded and not yet published.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

After the risks and chances have been recorded by the **Process Owner**, they must be published by the **Risk Manager** so that they are visible to the authorized **Process Users**.

If no risks and chances were identified in the analysis, the process is marked as not relevant.

Once the risk analysis has been published, it is displayed on the process page in the **Risk Analyses** section and can be opened by clicking on it.

Published and in-progress analyses are displayed on the process page for **Risk Managers**, **BPM Managers** and **Process Owners** only.

**Process Users** and **Designers** can view the most recently published analysis via the guide.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. On the process page, click ⋮ **Analyze Risks**.

   The **Risk Analysis for '{{Process name}}'** page appears.
2. Click **Publish**.

   The **Publish Risk Analysis '{{Process name}}'** page appears.
3. Define the **Validity Period** using the button for a default value, or click in the **Evaluation valid until** date field, set the end of the analysis's validity in the calendar dialog and close the dialog with **Close**.
4. Optionally, add a description for this analysis.
5. Click **Publish**.

   You are returned to the process page. The published analysis is listed in the process overview under Risk Analysis.
