As an alternative to restructuring using drag and drop, you can assign one higher-level organizational unit and several lower-level organizational units to an organizational unit.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager**.

You are on the **Organization** page tab.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

As an alternative to restructuring using drag and drop, you can assign an organizational unit (including its sub-elements) to exactly one other higher-level organizational unit. You can also assign several lower-level organizational units (and their sub-elements) to the organizational unit.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. In the organizational structure, click the organizational unit.

   The organizational unit's page appears on the right.
2. To assign an organizational unit including its sub-elements to another higher-level organizational unit, click the edit icon next to the **Higher-level organizational unit** section heading.

   The selection dialog appears.
3. To assign lower-level organizational units including their sub-elements to an organizational unit, click the edit icon next to the **Lower-level organizational units** section heading.

   The selection dialog appears.
4. To search for a specific organizational unit, enter part of the name in the **Search** text field.

   The entries displayed are restricted accordingly.
5. To select the higher-level organizational unit, click the organizational unit's entry.

   The entry is highlighted in color.
6. To select a lower-level organizational unit, select its checkbox.
7. To confirm the changes, click **Apply selection**.

   The selected organizational units are displayed in the **Higher-level organizational unit** or **Lower-level organizational units** section.

   You can navigate directly to the organizational units.
