You can create an organizational role as a role within your organization or as an external role.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager**.

You are on the **Organization** page tab.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

Regardless of the content language set in your profile, naming is always done in the modeling language specified on the **Manage Process Space** page in the **Modeler Settings** tab.

If role types have been defined, the organizational roles must be assigned to a role type.

## Procedure [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. To expand the collapsed **Organizational Roles** tab, click the arrow icon on the right.
2. To create an organizational role, click the plus icon at the bottom right of the tab.

   The creation dialog appears.
3. Enter the name of the organizational role.
4. In the **Role Type** selection list, select the type of the role.
5. To mark the role as an external role, activate **External**.
6. To translate the name, click the toggle icon in the dialog.

   The display switches to two-column mode.
7. In the selection list, select the language, enter the translation for the name and repeat the process to translate into further languages.
8. To confirm the changes, click **OK**.

   The changes are saved and the dialog is closed.
