In Bpanda, you can create your own architecture elements and then publish them.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager** or **Designer**.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. Select **Architecture**.
2. Select the **Drafts** tab.
3. Select the **Add** icon.

   A dialog opens.
4. Enter the name of the architecture element.
5. Select the type of the architecture element. (For more information on types, see: [Managing architecture elements](/manage-and-configure/manage-architecture-elements))
6. \[Optional\] Enter a description in the text field.
7. Select **Create** or **Create & New**.

### Create [#anlegen]

If you select **Create**, a draft is created and the draft window opens. In the draft window, you can add further responsible persons, properties and linked architecture elements to the architecture element. You can then publish the architecture element. The architecture element is then shown under **Architecture** in the **Published** tab. If you do not publish the architecture element, it is shown under **Architecture** in the **Drafts** tab.

### Create & New [#anlegen--neu]

If you select **Create & New**, the architecture element is created directly as a draft. The draft window does not open. The architecture element is then shown directly under **Architecture** in the **Drafts** tab.
