As a **BPM Manager**, you can create the **process maps** of the Process Space in the **Process Map Editor** or import them from other tools. The **Drafts** area on the home page shows you your drafts.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You are a **BPM Manager**.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

A process map draft is created in Bpanda by one of the following actions:

1. On the **Process Hierarchy** page (main menu **Processes** > **Process Hierarchy**), you select ⋮ **Go to process map** for a new hierarchy element and, on the **Process Map** tab, click **Open Process Map Editor**.

   This alternative immediately establishes the assignment of the resulting process map to the hierarchy element.
2. Under **Drafts** on the **Process Maps** tab, you create a process map draft by clicking **Create new draft**.

   This alternative subsequently requires the assignment to a hierarchy element.

A process map draft that you have started is treated as your private draft and is displayed on the home page under **Drafts** on the **Process Maps** tab.

## How to proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. On the home page, under **Relevant for me**, click the **Drafts** heading.

   The page of the same name appears.
2. Switch to the **Process Maps** tab.

   Your process map drafts are displayed.
3. To create a process map draft, click **Create new draft**. (For an alternative, see point 1 above.)

   The **Process Map Editor** appears.
4. To open a draft in the **Process Map Editor**, click the name or the thumbnail of a draft.

   The draft opens in the integrated **Process Map Editor**.
5. To submit a draft, click **Submit**.

   A dialog for the assignment to a hierarchy element in the process hierarchy appears. Select the hierarchy element and confirm the submission with **Submit**.

   The draft is submitted as a process map at this level. This process map can be edited again as a draft. The **process map** still has to be linked.
6. To delete a draft, click **Delete**.

   A dialog appears. Confirm the deletion with **Delete**.
