You can be assigned to a review as a **Review Participant**. Your task is then to examine the process revision and its contents and give feedback in the form of comments. Finally, you submit your rating.

## Prerequisites [#voraussetzungen]

You have been assigned to a **review** as a **Review Participant**.

You have opened the review; the **review area** is displayed to the right of the process page.

## Context [#zusammenhang]

As a **Review Participant**, you are asked to examine a process revision. In the form of comments, the overall process and the individual process contents can also be discussed with the other participants and the **Process Owners**.

The aim of the examination is the final rating in the **Complete Rating** section.

You give feedback in the **Give Feedback** section of the review area. You determine what a comment refers to on the process page:

- On the **Overview** tab, comments refer to the **overall process**. This lets you note, for example, that an attachment is missing or that a process property has been set incorrectly.
- On the **List** tab, you expand a process content; on the **Guide** tab or in the diagram view, you click it. The comment then refers to that process content.

The selected process content is shown with its name and type in the header of the **Give Feedback** section and is kept in sync across the views. In the list, a red icon indicates the process contents for which comments already exist.

Whether you prefer to go through the process using the list or the guide is up to you.

You can add a **label** to a comment, for example to distinguish notes from critical points. Which labels are available is defined by the **BPM Manager** under **Settings** > **Manage Process Space** on the **Customize** tab under **Review Labels**.

The pencil icon in the section header switches between two views:

- Pencil active: you comment on the selected process content.
- Pencil crossed out: editing is locked, and the section shows **all collected feedback on all process contents**. This helps before you submit your rating.

Using the language switch below the process name (for example **DE**), you switch between the languages the process has been translated into. The switch applies only to your view and does not change the content language in your profile.

## How to Proceed [#so-gehst-du-vor]

1. In the review area, expand the **Give Feedback** section.
2. To comment on the overall process, switch to the **Overview** tab on the process page.

The section header shows the process name with the addition **Process**.
3. To comment on a process content, expand it on the **List** tab or click it on the **Guide** tab or in the diagram view.

The section header shows the name and type of the process content, for example **Develop Solution** Task. Existing comments on this process content are displayed.
4. Enter your comment in the **Add comment** field.
5. To give the comment a label, click **Add label** and select a label.
6. Click **Send**.

The comment appears with your name, the time and the label.
7. To reply to a comment, click **Show replies** or the number of replies, enter your reply in **Add reply** and click **Send**.
8. To edit or delete your comment, click ⋮ on the comment and select **Edit** or **Delete**.
9. To see all collected feedback on all process contents, click the pencil icon in the section header.

The comments are displayed grouped by process content. Clicking the pencil icon again switches back.
